Congratulations to Illinois for energizing over 4 gigawatts of solar! As of Mar 8, 2025, 4,235 megawatts (MW) of solar have been energized in the State of Illinois.
One large utility-scale solar project came online in January 2024: Eldorado Solar I in Saline County (150 MW).
