In the last 3 months, an additional 721 megawatts (MW) of solar across 4,870 projects have been energized in the State of Illinois, bringing the total to 5,665 MW. With the Dec 31, 2025 expiration of the 30% Residential Clean Energy Tax Credit, many homeowners rushed to get their solar projects installed before the deadline.
